The Bible says that all fatherhood comes from God (Ephesians 3:14-15). But so many sons on earth endure fallible, absentee fathers who fail to provide direction, counsel, encouragement, or love. Many sons also lose nurturing fathers in tragedy, so they, too, are left without guidance.

Jonathan was delighted to have the opportunity to be a guest speaker at Fox Harbour for the Advocis Atlantic School this week where advisors come together to sharpen their skills and share knowledge.

On June 8, 2019 our Eastport team of family and friends participated in the Scotiabank Bluenose marathon to support some fantastic charities. The organizations we focused on are; Teen Challenge, Souls Harbour, Youth Unlimited and the AOJ school in Guatemala.

We are so incredibly grateful for the people in our lives here at TC!!!! We are thankful that our friend, Jonathan Lewis has been bringing the "3S's" (Steak, Sports and Servants Hearts) to us for several years. We appreciate the friends that he has brought and partnered with to make it one of the most anticipated evenings of our students programs! The fellowship,encouragement and time that you share is an amazing gift. The steaks are an added bonus; thank you from the bottom of our hearts (and stomachs)!"

Had a great time in Memramcook hanging with the gang at the center and playing some Friday night football. The 9 yr dynasty of undefeated road trips came to and end with a score of 28-21 in favour of the guys at the TC center but spirits were lifted as always on both sides of the field!! Awesome men and Awesome time!!

Jonathan joined the board of Teen Challenge Canada in Newfoundland for a day on site at the new women’s center they just opened. This organization is freeing lives of addiction everyday and it’s fantastic to be a small part of it.

“Do your giving while you are living.” You can’t take it with you. Everyone of us has time, talent and money. Some of us have more of each of these resources available than others. I know this!...You can’t take any of these with you. Share them with the world. GIVE. How ya livin?

Jonathan recently completed his Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA) designation. The Certified Kingdom Advisor is a principled class of Christian financial advisors who have been trained in providing biblically wise financial advice to men and women seeking biblically wise financial counsel. Jonathan recently visited the New York Stock Exchange with the Kingdom Advisors and had a chance to pose under the bell.

Another successful Turkey Drive with all our community supporters, staff and volunteers. A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who makes this possible every year! Tonight was a double blessing as we did two locations at once which was a first and it all went off without a hitch. Jonathan D.W. Lewis has been named Entrepreneur of the Year by Progress magazine, which recognized select entrepreneurs in the Atlantic Canadian economy. Lewis is a IO-year member from Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Very excited to see Souls Harbour hitting the ground today with their new thrift store in Halifax, called Mission Mart. This will allow an already fantastic mission to fulfill its mission!!

Jonathan Lewis had the chance to share his story and thoughts with other advisors yesterday in Toronto at the annual Canadian Kingdom Advisors Conference. In the presentation on “Living a life of purpose on purpose” Jonathan talked openly and honestly about faith, finance and the obligation advisors have surrounding stewardship and money management with our clients.
