Shami moved to Halifax from Sri Lanka and she loves working at Eastport. Often the first point of contact with our clients, Shami makes people feel welcome while serving as Executive Assistant to Jonathan.
“This is the most amazing place that I have worked in Canada,” says Shami. "this is where I found family.”
She says her coworkers are her rock and have been with her during her darkest times. When she hit rock bottom, it was her work family that brought her through.
“I finally belong to a place where I'm safe and feeling the real meaning of freedom, surrounded by loving and caring people who respect humanity. This is a land where hopes and dreams come to reality and make the impossible – possible.”
