The Hub, an indoor skatepark located in Burnside, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, hosted a Skate-A-Thon on December 6th. More than one hundred skateboarders participated in the event and made donations, while local companies like Eastport also provided support.
The event was successful in raising over $5000, and worked in conjunction with a local community group to provide skateboards and clothing to children in need just before the holidays.
Skateboarders showcased their skills at the indoor park from 6:00am to 12:00am, and Andrew Parrott, our dedicated Financial Advisor and passionate skater, not only helped promote the event but also rode during the early 6:00am shift. Great job, Andrew!
