Eastport Financial held our annual turkey drive again this year, handing out turkey dinners to families so that they can celebrate Christmas at home. Another amazing event, and the drive was full of Christmas cheer spread out over two days. This year, we served the Halifax, Dartmouth, Bridgewater, and Lewisporte, Newfoundland areas.
Due to the generosity of our clients, volunteers, and business leaders throughout NS and Newfoundland – we were able to hand out exactly 713 Turkey dinner bags that included a bag of potatoes, onions, carrots, stuffing, apple pie, a Hope Magazine, and of course, a savoury turkey!
Thanks to Eastport Financial, hundreds of families are being given the opportunity to enjoy a special Christmas dinner with loved ones in their own homes. "
