Joe DiPenta

CEPA
COACHES

Joe DiPenta brings a rare blend of elite athletic discipline and executive leadership, helping organizations turn potential into performance.

A Stanley Cup champion, Joe became the first NHL player to return the Stanley Cup to his hometown of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, in 2007 as a member of the Anaheim Ducks—joining an exclusive group of fewer than 150 players to have won both the Stanley Cup and the Calder Cup. Over the course of his professional hockey career, he also played within the Philadelphia Flyers, Atlanta Thrashers, Vancouver Canucks, and Buffalo Sabres organizations.

Following his graduation from California State University, Long Beach, Joe returned home to transition into the nonprofit sector, dedicating his leadership skills to causes he is deeply passionate about. From 2013 to 2019, he worked with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, where he gained hands-on experience building, scaling, and leading high-performing teams.

In 2023, a decade after beginning his tenure as Regional Director in Atlantic Canada, Joe returned to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada as Corporate Walk Chair for Light the Night. In this role, he led the Halifax Executive Committee to a record-breaking year, raising more than $970,000.

Today, Joe resides in California with his wife, Jessica, and their daughter, Chloe. He remains actively involved in his community by coaching his daughter’s hockey team and volunteering with local charities. Professionally, Joe is an EOS Implementer, partnering with entrepreneurial leaders to bring clarity, accountability, and traction to their organizations.

Drawing on the focus, discipline, and high-pressure experience of a Stanley Cup champion, Joe leverages over 40 EOS implementations and CEPA exit-planning strategies to align leadership teams, drive accountability, and significantly increase enterprise value.
